A pair of .hda hard drive images - one with BeOS 5 preinstalled, the other with BeOS Mac Tools. Using the .bin / .cue files from archive.org as the installation media, I copied the BeOS and MacOS partitions to hard drive images to make it easier to run BeOS on my vintage Macs that support it.
I've confirmed these images run on the following machines: PowerMac 6400/200, Twentieth Anniversary Mac, and Performa 5500/225
Compatibility:
- Power Mac 8600 and 9600: Supported below 250 MHz, some 250 MHz models are compatible and some are not, 300 MHz and faster models are not compatible.
- Power Mac 9600 MP
- Power Mac 8500 and 9500, including 9500 MP
- Power Mac 7300 and 7600
- Power Mac 4400 (7220 in some markets)
- Power Mac 5500
- Twentieth Anniversary Mac
- Performa/Power Mac 6400
